A quick update:

She's taking tentative, brave steps - almost walking!

She's been handing me Goodnight Moon to read to her at night.

She absolutely LOVES music and dances to it like there's no tomorrow!

She is lazy and if she sees food on the ground she'll lower her body to the floor and pick it up with her mouth, then move on. Come to think of it, it might be more of "on the go eating" than laziness, lol. (Oh no, I NEVER leave food on the ground - I follower her around 24/7 tirelessly, picking up the food she tosses over her shoulder. Someone needs to explain to her that there are starving children in China.)

Her favorite foods:

♥ Spaghetti!
♥ Cheese!
♥ Pasta
♥ Soft veggies (especially carrot and broccoli)
♥ Grapefruit (don't ask, I was surprised)
♥ Anything daddy is eating (even if she's just eaten she takes her place at his knee and opens her mouth like a little bird)

The weather is getting so nice (as you can see in the pics). John and I anticipate we'll be out at the park a lot this summer, him playing B-ball and me ... well, chasing the lil' girlie around of course. There are tennis courts at that park too, though, and I would love to play sometime. We'll find out if I should just stick with the Wii. Less embarrassment. ;-)

We're getting more involved in our church, which is nice. It's hard to fit in sometimes - we're not always sure if it's just us or what, lol. I guess it takes time to fit in anywhere... plus it's been hard to do a lot of socializing with the baby up till now. There are a lot of young married people our age but none of them have kids yet (what are they waiting for? lol), so sometimes it's hard to get our schedules to coincide - they like to do a lot of late-night bible studies and such and since Jaedyn's bedtime is 7:30 pm that makes it hard. Anyway, everything is going great and we've made friends. John is still playing on Sunday mornings and Wednesday nights, busy busy.

We've been super busy but are thinking about ALL our family - if you haven't heard from us and are wondering if we fell off the side of the planet (assuming it's flat), nope! We're still alive, just insanely busy. :-)
